A few people have blown the 30 amp fuse and their machine doesn't run afterwards, apparently due to a wire being pinched by the seat. It is a large automotive style fuse, under the seat, under a plastic cover. There is a glass fuse that is very easily spotted, but the 30 amp is a little more hidden.

Consider using some vulcanizing rubber tape and wire ties. Might be a good idea to fix that short before you get nailed by it on a long trip.
