Howdy all!

I may be in the market for a new quad in the near future. Does anyone have any comments about the new Can-am 650. I already own a Brute 650i. Any imput would be appreciated

I've read that there motors are stronger than the prairie but the frames are weaker.

this month issue in dirtwheels has a shoot out....7 rigs in the class. can am has body role weighs 649 dry squats under power. single lever brake,looks like the new grizzley wins the shoot out.

go with the kawie, The can-am cost too much more. You could save the money and buy the warranty, put tires on and a cdi, and come out with a better machine for the same $

i would find a prarie 700 before there gone.

best sport utility ever made; if Kawasaki would get their head out of their ()() and upgrade something once in a while. That thing was around for how many years without any real upgrades and still never lost a shootout that I've heard of.

You are right. The Prairie has yet to loose a shootout to date. And it was still mentioned in January's Dirt Wheels in the big bore shootout that it wasn't even in! Too bad they're gone. Oh well, I have two.
