if you put on their mudder lid you dont need a controler. the mudder lid is alot quieter too. have had one on my 08 750 for a year know and no problems. put it on to cure the same problem you are having

either one of our open lids regular/covered with the front blocked will be ok with a stock pipe without a tuner. With the front open it will run lean in the upper rpms only. With a pipe installed any of the lids need a tuner. Our tuner is setup for the basic mod bikes you can get away with our lid/anypipe/ and any air filter. You can also bump some compression or change cams but after that you will get to the extent of what our controller will do they we we set it up. If you wanted to go further the controller is not the limitation but the program that its flashed with. We would need to configure a new base map for it to operate off of. Anytime you change injectors you throw a hole new equation into the mix the fed more fuel at the same pulse so it will dramatically effect how the controller works. As well as fuel pressure. I dont think the brute fuel injectors would really need to be changed unless your pushing 70rwhp but i have not done extensive testing with them like on the yami. Generally people think bigger injectors work better but the smallest injector you can get away with without maxing dutycyle will outperform a bigger one almost everytime. You want the finest spray pattern possible its helps tremendously with TQ. Im just generalizing i havent kept up with what the kawi's are even doing now for the big hp# as we mainly race yami's and honda's.

Thank you very much. I told you guys just to call them they will help. The injectors really helped my Brute and it was in the lowers 60's at that time. The controller they have works great just when you add more power to it, it will only handle so much....

Thanks Skip, what inj did you switch to? I would say if you went to a pc3 where you actually needed to subtract fuel you have even more power there that hasnt been tapped yet. Not trying to say its not better than what it was with our controller i imagine it was. The issue you probably had was it was at its max range of adjustment that we send them with. The problem we run into we designing them is you either have to set them up for the basic mod guys or you have to set them up for an extreme build otherwise the range of adjustments are just so vague they wouldnt work for either setup. We generally try to figure in the basic bolt on parts people will use and plan accordingly for them.

The controller itself is a very cool little gizmo we run it on our drag raptor that powers 2 injectors for a single cylinder putting down over 80 rwhp (cant release actual # to many people are always keeping tabs).

If you are interested in trying i will be happy to write another base map for you (for free) i should be able to get it close if you tell me the basic specs of your cams but its hard without it here on our dyno. You might be suprised i would guess you could pick up 2-3 hp and 4-5 pd of TQ running the smaller injectors. Did you try the pc3 with the stock inj and pay att to the duty cycle? Im just curious if they were really maxed out at 60 i have had a couple brutes here that were right around 60ish hp not much over that though that seemed fine on stock injectors.

I went with the Power Commander III, and the injectors (stock) were like 95% cycle. I actually sold the EHS tuner with the muzzy exhaust I had for a great price for both me and the buyer or else I would take you up on your offer. VFJ did everything and I'm sure he tried the PC3 with the stock inj and paid attention to the duty cycle. I think it was more maxxed out at or around 62-65 hp. VFJ said it picked up once he added the bigger injectors.

Thanks for clearing that up about the EHS controller. I actually asked you about that went I bought mine from you. You said I had plenty of room to grow with it and I'm sure you could've done that for me but when the exhaust got sold the guy wanted the controller to. What happened to the other controller that was on your website I can't find it?

I never had a problem with your products and the customer service is great so I send people your way or tell people about the great products that I use.

Eric is the MAN!!! He did the build on my 700xx. We are heading back down in 2 weeks for some more TB work and to go +1mm on the valves. His controller and engine work took a real beating at Parker and came thru with flying colors! We put the EHS Racing 700XX on the podium!
