Anyone into super bikes?
I didn't meantion it earlier, and don't know if anyone really cares, but our new sponsered Superbike rider who just moved up to Pro this year ran the first race's of the year this past weekend (first race's as a Pro and with HP) and finished second in 600 Supersport (1st race with the motor) and won 1000 Superbike (second race with the motor). This was on his 600 Supersport CBR600RR (with Fundy HP of course) in both classes.
Looks like it might be another good year in road racing.

 Thats ironic.
Do you build many street bike motors Ray? Is there much technology from a crotch rocket motor that can be incorporated into an atv motor?

i was heavy into sport bikes untill i had my son a year and a half ago. thats why i switched back to quads, i have no self controll.. 240kmh on the back wheel of a 200HP zx12r didnt even get my heart pumping, and thats scary. i rebuilt a smashed cbr600rr a few years ago, very nice working bike.. definately a very strong bike in the turns, i never really understood what neutral steering was untill i drove the 600rr, and ive had a zx7r, R1, few CBRs, zx12r, and have driven pretty much everything else, from new gixxer 1000s to busas..

Brian Blaauwendraat is his name, he just moved up to Pro this year.
Yes he'll be running the full Atlantic series as well as some of the Nationals, their on the way to Mosport now.
LOL, Mickey, we didn't do anything for Dunlap this year. He finished last in the 600 S/S and 11 or 12 in 1000S/B this weekend, he had bike issue's.

Yes we build a few bike engines, and a lot more now. We do a lot of Yamaha RX1's and Apex motors which is basically an R1 motor.
Yes a 4 stroke motor is a 4 stroke motor, there are many differences from a 16,000RPM 4 cylinder to a 9000RPM V twin but most of the principles are the same and like anything he who does the most testing usually wins.

Hey T4, Brian finished 8th in 600 Super Sport in Calabogie this weekend, not bad for his first Pro national race, only beat by factory teams and he finished ahead of some of them.
Here's a link to a picture of his bike.
http://www.cdnsuperbike.com/index.php?opti...&Itemid=192
He's third row down, third from left, red/white #157
PS, correction to my last post, andrew finished last in 600 S/S but 2nd to Brian in 1000 Super Bike last weekend, not 11 or 12 as I had thought.

I think it is so cool that those bikes can be almost parallel with the ground and the tires not come out from under them. Personally, I've never been comfortable on a sport bike, but they sure are cool! I only wish I could ride like that.
