Hello I'm new to this I have an 2005 brute 650 sra and durring the winter months I have a really hard time trying to start my bike and when I do I have to hold the throttle because it will not idle at all until it gets warm, any suggestions.
Keep a Battery tender hooked up to the Battery.
Install two new spark plugs.
Use a fuel stabilizer in your gas tank and have the gas tank full.
After adding the fuel stabilizer, run the motor so the stabilizer gets to your Carbs.
Full choke should start it w/o throttle but my carb 750s were very cold-blooded and helping it to idle was always the case.
thank you very much bfb650b2 it's starting to get cold up here in the north so I'll be getting all that stuff together soon. But where can I get a battery tender??
