750 brute force

Hello
Is there a thread out there on .How to change the drive belt on my 750 kaw .

Welcome larry.....do as it says on this link MudInMyBlood Forums How To: Tighten the Belt but you dont need to remove springs. You need to pull both primary and secondary clutches to change belt. Then you will need to check and set belt deflection by adding or removeing shims....see the second link on how to do that. Tightening Belt/Belt Light Reset - MudInMyBlood Forums

Larry,

Take a look at this I found on You Tube, when changing my belt this worked a treat!!

Thats not a good way to put a new belt on unless you are really stuck and have no other way.....good way to damage a new belt that you just payed good money for!

Iím no engineer Kawboy1 but I do find that hard to believe and I'm not saying your wrong bud, but the tension and strain these belts come under when in use are massive!!

I do agree that you can use this method in an emergency but Iíve done this twice now and never had a problem with any belt, what I would always say is use a genuine Kawasaki belt as these are better that anything else out there in the market.
