Default Factory Air Screw Setting

can someone please tell me how many turns out the pilot air screw should be on a '00 Prairie 300? my brother took apart the carb for rebuild and didn't know to count the number of turns(from bottomed out) on the pilot/air screw and now has no clue on where it should be. if someone could tell me what the factory setting is i'd really appreciate it.

Look on the sticker that lists the model/spark plug gap/valve specs./etc., on my prairie400 the sticker was located under the seat

Yeah, the manual says 2 turns out, but my sticker says 2 1/4 turns out. When I took my carb apart last weekend I counted 2 1/2 turns out. So yeah, I would say start with 2 turns out and adjust from there.
