01 Prairie 300 Starter Replacement
I'm changing the starter on my 01 prairie 300 with a new starter and apparently kawasaki has upgraded from a 2 brush to a 4 brush starter. The new superseded starter is longer than the original one and when installed it hits the cvt intake duct. I've got it installed but the intake duct is deflected a little causing drive pulley to scrap the metal shield on behind the drive pulley. Has anybody experienced this problem? What is the fix? I've contacted some dealers who have never experienced this.
