gas tank vent in frame

hey guys should a guy snorkle the gas tank vent that just plugs into the frame ? [ yet another bad friggin idea ] ....

i can see water getting into the gastank from there....

06 750 brute with 30 mudlights xxl, 2 rads, snorkeled, moose chip, front and rear 3000lb winches, epi clutch springs almond and red...

fuggggggggg i should have just done it before i put the rear fenders back on ect...

It's cool, you can do it with the plastics on. The vent line goes from the check valve into the frame over the tank. Pull it out of the frame, silicone the hole in the frame. It comes back out of the frame beside the shifter and goes up to a row of metal tubes in the pod. Pull the other end by the shifter and seal the hole. Run a new hose up the side of the frame rail to the pod and connect where the original came off.
I used clear plastic hose fro Lowes, It doesn't have to be gas proof as this is the intake to the tank so it doesn't collapse as it draws fuel.
