Default Prairie 2004 700 fuel pump

I had a fuel pump problem, that resulted in my doing some research on possibly replacing the fuel pump on my prairie. Fortunately I did not.

What I did find was a fuel pump that looks pretty familiar. What I don't know is it will work.

The pump is from an 1989 Suzuki Swift II Sidekick, that was not sold in the US. The pump can be found possibly on Ebay, shipping from Hong Kong... ETC.

The first picture is the Kawasaki fuel pump assembly showing the fuel pump.
The second picture is the Suzuki fuel pump.
The third picture is another view of the Suzuki fuel pump.

What I know of the Suzuki fuel pump is this:
.1 Bar Pressure
80 Liter/Hour Flow
12 Volt
34 mm Diameter

Hopefully someone can add to this... maybe it will help someone.

I have a 2004 twin peaks and it is my plow quad, it idles fine but any more throttle than 1/4 it breaks up and will not run, I think it is a fuel problem, carbs have been taken out and cleaned, valves checked, compresion checked, spark plug and boots checked, coil checked, it just sounds like it is starving for fuel at higher rpm's, any thoughts would be awsome. thanks guys

If you think its the pump just use the 42s mentioned above. VFJ has a sticky on how to hook it up in his forum (Intrstate Motorsports)
