klf 300 .electrics

HEY everybody ,Im havin a little problem with the wifes klf ,after a lot of wire checking ,coil .pulse coil iit turned out to be the cdi unit ,got one online put every thing back together pluged the cdi unit in connected the battery and she fired up sweet as a nut ,that was last night ,went out today to tidy up the light and pulled it out of one garage (started) up to the shed where i keep the compresser to pump up the tires stopped the quad pumped up the tires and it wouldnt start ,no spark ,only sparks when i flik the kill switch .any one any ideas as to what may be frying the cdi unit ,no shorts ,and the only thing i havnt changed is the regulator .

regulators go on these which causes the cdi to burn up from over voltage

`2006 brutefore 650i( getting complete rebuild from frame up)
