would the shim be in front of the spring or behind it??

also, will my 11bf750 exhaust fit an 05 bf750? theres a guy who wants it bc hs big gun evo is too loud and no one will reply to my other post "2011 bruteforce stock exhaust" in the forsale section. his name is lionman he just made a new thread as well asking the same question.

Also i would say it should fit sense the muzzy duals fit 05 to 11 but ask vfj he will know for sure

How about looking up part numbers... It's amazing what you can do with a lil thing called the Internet

They are different in some way (just looks like different heat guards), but looks like it would fit

I heard that the head pipes are alittle bigger (or the front pipe was routed differently) on the 08+ bikes, but they will still interchange...

RNB, you are right. i remember my 05 had a different head pipe and the 08+ are more straight but it will fit. the new ones have very little wiggle room and took a good 4-5minutes to get the whole exhaust off. itll be a tight fit but it will work.
