I got 53 hours on my (03) 650 this is the second time the belt indicator light started flashing both times no power and niether time was the belt switch tripped and niether time was the belt loose. Resetting the light is no problem but I don't think twice in 53 hours is a good thing.
I sure could use some guidance from you experienced guys as in where to look for my problem. When it happened today I checked all the electrical connections and found the pos bat cable could have been tighter but that's it. |

thats what got mine, a loose pos. battery connection

check the connections undr the seat. Grease them with dielectric grease. NAPA sells the grease. Mine did this, too.

Thanks for the responses if it does it again I'll let you know meanwhile I'll clean up the connectors and grease them whith the dielectric grease when the CDI gets here,should be tomorrow or Wedensday at the latest.
