Ok Had the miss at 8-12 mph put the updated needel in didnt really do much so I think we are three turns out on the adjustment screw and is now much better but still has a miss at higher speeds but not all the time. Have seen about the shims under the front needel and the dyna flo jet assembely. Also ordered some adjustable needels. If any one has had these similarities and found a fix for the let me know. Would like to get it running the way it should before I buy a dyna CDI Thanks <_<

I have had some problems, but I am still waiting for the needle to come in. Mine is snorkled, and sputtering was an issue along with the glowing pipes. As of right now mine is running good at 2 1/2 turns out on the fuel screws, and a little extra oil on the filter to richen things up a bit.

I plan to install #40 pilot jets(stock is #38), and rear needle in the front carb pretty soon. I hope this fixes my problem. It also seemed to run smoother with the DG5 turned on.

I put in the updated needle & went two sizes bigger on my mains, which cured my low end miss completely & seems to preform a little better on the big end. I also have my fuel screws 3 turns out. This is all elevation dependent (I&#39;m @ 1640^).
It&#39;s all hit & miss & every machine dials in a little different.

So are you saying you still have some issues in the midrange throttle??????
