Got a k&n air filter in the brute and just got a hmf slip on exhaust. Was wondering if I needed to rejet or not or to try it out w/o the jets and see if its running like it should be?

More than likely you will be a little lean, they are pretty sensitive to air + exhaust changes.

Mixture screws control idle to somewhere part throttle, the needles control off idle to about 1/2 throttle, then it is main jet time.Or something close to that.

Hi Derek, V10 is absolutly correct. You will have to richen up on the needles(shim or Dyna neeldes) and go up on main jet. We haven't ran a Brute with just an exhaust but you'll probaly have to shim the stk needles .010"-.020" and go up to 165/160 mains.
