You can read my mods in my signature. 2mm larger than a 650 bore on high comp pistons. As she sits, she will take an Outy 800 in a 300' drag. BB650 cross over intakes to be installed as soon as he ships them, and hopefully will be even a bit quicker in the drags after that.

Thanks guys, I hope I keep getting more good info.

A Man, how much faster is your bike than the can-am 800? How is the low end? I was looking at stage 2 or 3 cams which should be better than the web 150i's just not sure about the low end loss. I mostly mud bog so hole shot very important.

The 650i has larger carbs but what about heads? (compared to prairie/brute 650sra)

At the drags, this summer, I ran an Outy Max 800 being driven by a 90 lb kid (I asked him how much he weighed), I did not beat him by much. It was about a foot at 300'. In hind sight, if I was building my motor now, I would have gotten a Stage 3 cam and pistons, from 4 Stroke Tech. You can run a Stage 2, or the Wiseco's, with the Web cams, but the reliefs are not deep enough for the larger cams. Have thought about trying a Stage 2 cam, but do not think I will see enough difference over the Webs, to make it worth the trouble. I figure to run what I have for another season and then rebuild, again, with a bbk. I am not sure on any differences, in the heads, between a P650 and a BF650i, so cannot answer that question.

I can tell you that with my current setup, I have very good power down low, but not as much as I would like at the top end. Top speed, for me, on the gps is 72 mph. I just changed my primary spring back to stock (I was running an EPI black) and hope that will get me another 1-2 mph on the top end. Different cams would make a difference, but again, not willing to spend the $$ right now. If you want to talk to someone about building a good motor for bogging, pm flynt. He has built some very strong Brute Forces for mud bogging.

I have talked to flynt, he recommended the high comp pistons with his custom cam and springs (over the web 150i). I haven't asked mickey yet. I'm sure he'll have some good info as well.

You have a 650I so you have the Bigger 34mm Carbs and a few other small things are different,I tell you what I would do right now, being you have a 650 I would go on the Four Stroke Tech Thread above and look into getting the 700 82mm Kit witch make syours a 2 mm over and a 665 and get Stage 3 Cams and it comes with the Valve Springs all for 589.00 this month, but you need to get the gaskets seprate but they are 31.00 each so your looking at around 650.00 for a HOLE KIT COMPLETE thats a Smoking deal and if you plan to build this would be my deal I went with,I am doing a customers bike with the 750 kit in his 750 Brute.

That is a hell of a deal bb 650, thanks for the heads up. I'm probably going to have to hold up, money is a little tight right now. I need to wait until Mayor so before I move to the next step, I just want to get a good idea of what move to make before then.

How much difference will the bore make? I was really planning on staying stock bore for sake of work and money but I'm open for new ideas.

Keep the ideas and experience rolling!

I also have stock bore 11.5:1 pistons for the 650 that uses all my cam combos. We always give 10% off year round.

The 650i has plated cylinders though BB so you have to bore and plate to go oversize.
A good std bore kit rocks in the I anyway, even our old trail cam std bore makes 96HP. It didn't have the bottom end (first 5 ft) pull of our 750 kit but fly's from then on.
Our new Trail cams should be way better on the bottom.
