FI Warning Light

While riding last week, my FI (fuel injection) warning light came on. I also noticed that my coolant was completely empty. It appears that this light can be activated when the sensor that activates the fan goes bad. Regardless, the shop says the sensor is bad and they need to order a new one. Could put me out for riding this weekend.

Anyone have this light come on?

They are replacing my entire wiring harness...don't ask me what the hell happened.
