OK It's a 2005 Prairie 700 and when I have to put in reverse under a heavy load ( to get out of mud ) it BANGS & CLICKS from front DIFF. something heavy duty it will NOT happen in 4 wheel drive foward under load or in 4 wheel drive REVERSE just backing up.ONLY UNDER A BIG LOAD in reverse....I was told to make sure the motor mounts are tight , that they could be loose and making it not mesh right ? WHATS IS MY BEST COURSE OF ACTION........you guy's are good aahh... GREAT help me out please I dont what to blow the front diff O YEA DID I MENTION IT ONLY HAS 86 HOURS AND 600 MILES ON IT!

check your mounts and also check you diff mounting bolts. under load forwards on the diff it would turn down into the frame under load in rev. it would try to lift up off the frame.

it could also be one of your cv-joints. i had a clicking sound from the front last year and i checked everything found out to be my inner joint. it had a cracked ball cage. witch made it make the cracking sound.
it only did it going forward. but it could be the same for your issue. but first check all mounting bolts.
and you rear engine mount

OK checked the 2 bottom mounting bolts & 1 top bolt on the front diff , tight as a good chick. went to the motor mounts only was able to check the front bottom most one(tight). I have to take some stuff to get to the other bolt locations for the motor.Did notice the shaft seal in the back of the front diff to look like it was out a little not sure..... it has been leaking/oozing for a while (always top off the fluid allways full)I will put the seal in soon but I have to order the little inner seal after reading good info on this site.WHAT now? how do you check knuck cage thing a ma BOB you talked about thank you very much!
