My P650 has a short piece of rubber fuel line that goes between the fuel bowl of the rear carb and the body of the front carb. Those guys that change jets on a regular basis will recognize this as the line that's a royal pain-in-the-#@% to get back together when putting the fuel bowls back on.
What purpose does this line serve? :hmm:
I have no lines coming off either of the float bowls
Any pics?
Now that I think about it,mine might have had drain lines on the bottom of the bowls at one time
It's not the drain lines.
If nobody knows I may have to take a pic. I wonder if this was something only on early-build 2002 650's? Mine was one of the first off the line.
You may have hit the nail on the head! It may be the feed to the primer on the rear carb, I never thought of that. If that's the case, I'm going to hook up a piece of longer line and put a loop in it so there's some extra line to work with when putting it together.
