Default Bottom end Bearing Longevity

Hi Folks,
I'm new to this site, but have had my 05 BF 650 since new in 05. The question is, how long can I expect the roller bearings in this quad to last?
It is bone stock, has 6000 miles and a little more than 1000 hrs on it. (lots of slow farm usage!!!)
Thanks, Andre

Thanks, from what I've read on here 1000 hrs is a lot of time on a motor but I guess they are all easy miles/hrs.
I had my dealer offer me what seems to me a good trade-in price to get into a new BF650 sra, but this thing still runs so good.

Just keep your oil clean and valves adjusted. It should last for a long time. Im sure there will be lots of other things worn out before your engine is.

those may not be all true hrs on the machine if I remember the Hourmeter will tally up time as long as the key is on so if it sits with the key on for a day it counts it as running also. There was a power company in Kansas that had on 02 with 25,000 miles on it and no problems ever with the motor monthly service with oil and filter change and air cleaner service.

No major electrical problems to speak of. I had the quad pop the fan breaker on a woods ride towing someone out of the trail, but it hasn't done this since then. From what I've read on this site those breakers are not the most reliable things.

I have replaced some seals on the quad, but sofar its the best bike I've ever owned!!

I'm pretty sure they are all true hrs on the machine, lots of fertilizer spreading, spraying, etc. all I do is change fluids in a timely fashion and make sure the air filter is clean.
My dad rides Search and Rescue for the county we live in and he sweares by these machines (07 BF 650 SRA) He says there is lots of guys with nicer bikes = more money, but he has no problems keeping up with them.

i ride 90% of the time in low range on trails that limit speed to 4 or 5 mph, and my average speed is 8 mph. 1600 miles and 200 hours.

that one has an average of 6mph.
