Default 2" Lift Kit P700

How does this kit effect the stability. I decide to go ahead and order one since I already have changed the strut springs, ball joints, brake pads, tie rods, cv boots, etc. I realize that the drive angles will change and the center of gravity will change, but I also added a full set of Ricochet skids and a winch which will add some weight below center. Should I get a set of 1 1/2" wheel spacers? Is urethane the way to go?

I never noticed any difference on my P... but I don't run the stock wheels.

My wheels are not stock either, but I believe the combo is of stock size (25"). Are you running spacers?

I have the lift on my 650 . Side to side stability is ok.The only problem is going up steep hills .If you don't put your weight forward it will want to lift the front wheels and roll over backwards.

the lift doesnt really give you more ground clearance on the rear axle. but more on the frame. its pretty stable. but can still tip over faster then a stock machine. if your going for larger tires. 28" fit nice, and with some aftermarket wheels with better offset like the ITP wheels. handling will be much better. add a set of 1" wheel spacers and it gets harder to tip over. my machine with 1.5" wheel spacers and rolling on delta steel wheels with 28x10-12 fronts and 28x12-12 rears. its just as stable as a stock machine but looks better. my machine is 5" wider then a stock machine helps with handling and helps with staying out of deep ruts by riding on the edges of the ruts, but sucks fitting on tight trails that a stock machine can as being 5" wider i rub trees more with the tires.
