Maybe you could contact Outerwears to have them make you one of their water-resistant covers that would fit over your airbox cover with elastic or something. Then it is easily removable when you are done with the race since it will probably be pretty covered in dirt/mud. Then just rinse it off with water and let dry before you need to use it again. I have had their water-resistant covers on the air filters on other quads I have owned and they work pretty well at repelling water unless you give them a direct, hard spray from a hose or something.

On the SRA models the napa hose mod or DG snorkel make better power then the 12 hole will. The 12 hole is more for the KFX.

I know that what is said, but for some reason thats not the case with my machine. Difference of about 2 quad lengths between the 12 hole and napa hose when racing the same machine.Actually I have 3 of the holes taped shut.....

I had an old outerwears cover laying around so i just cut it fit over the holes and glued it to the cover. Just take the hole lid off to clean it and keeps alot of dust and water out of the holes. And you can still tape a few holes shut from the inside of the cover.
