Unhappy Kawasaki bayou 220 carburetor problem

my Kawasaki bayou 220 has a problem, when I start it up on choke let it run a little then take it off choke it just dies out on me, I gotten a new carburetor kit and put it on it still dies out. I really need some help please, going ATVing next week, thanks

Set the idle up a little. It is the brass screw on the driver side with a slot. You can turn it by hand, clockwise to raise the idle.

If that doesn't help, you probably need to adjust the valves.<-- This makes a world of difference, because we don't use the choke or gas trigger to start my wife's. We just turn it on and hit the starter button.

Take a look at the fuel metering rod (part #16187) you will notice it has a clip with a washer on each side. There are several positions that the clip can be posistioned on. Move the clip DOWN a notch and then re-assemble. This will allow more fuel at idle and should fix the problem of stalling at low speed and/or having to run on choke at idle.

Default kawassaki 220 getting fire and gas but wont krank

i have a kawasaki 220 bayou 4 wheeler and i cant get it to crank, it will turn over and its getting fire and gas to it. what could be the problem? please help
