Changing Rear Oil Seal
Gentlemen, I need to change the rear oil seal in my 2009 Brute 750, question is, how hard is it to do myself? And how do I go about doing it in steps? Thank you for your help.

Drain the oil, pull the driveshaft out with your hands, it compresses in the middle. I
found the easiest way to remove the seal is drill a small pilot hole in it, find a self tapping wafer scew, im sure others will work. Scew it in the hole you drilled, then us a
prybar and pop it out. Install just lightly tap the new seal in til its flush.

What he said but expect the new one to seep too. Also put some grease on the lips of the seal, the sealing part not around outside

Well thats usefull information boys thanks....I just didnt know if you had to take apart the u joint or not. I might leave it for now I have a mud run coming up this weekend. Mine hasnt leaked up until now and sitting in the garage there are oil spots. I will change it eventually, nobody likes a bike leaking oil. I can see the new one seeping hopefully not leaking.
