Default high lifter spring for brute force

i am looking into getting a set of high lifter springs for my brute force. i ride with my girlfriend on the back all the time. I dont want something that is gonna put on axle on to much of an angle and mess up my axle. i know there are lots of high end shocks but i am not looking to spend that much. would the high lifter be a good upgrade for me?

Check this out: Kawasaki Brute Force Shock Spring Spacers Custom Lift : eBay Motors (item 300424314380 end time May-11-10 09:51:00 PDT)

I make these as an alternative to the HL springs and have many happy customers.
