My KFX decided to just die today.... I noticed the fuel pump isnt making that noise it made when you start it up. I tried the roll over circuit as discussed in a previous thread but no luck.. Has anyone else had this problem?

Do you have a PCIII? I'd check that 1st before anything else.

The power commander is an aftermarket fuel controller.

May have popped the fuse for the fuel pump. Hopefully that's all it is. I had looked into the fuse locations before but can't remember which one it was, it is under the front cover though where the rollover switch is.

Next addition: 3 degree advance flywheel keyway for ignition(try this cheap upgrade in lue of the dynojet ignition controller)
Steering stabilizer
Still need to upgrade the sprocket, going 15T front first
Cams??? Hopefully---trying to stay out of the internals though.

Thanks dirt, The only fuse I can find really is the main fuse on the top right, even the manual states there a radiator fuse and a fuel pump fuse but i cant find them even though they point them out. i will keep searching because even though its covered under warranty once it goes into the black hole of the dealership who knows how long it will sit there on an ordered part that for some reason takes months to come in. LOL

Do you have any other electric turning on? My main fuse went out on the trail and nothing worked no head light not even the green neutral light. I would triple check that along with your battery my wouldn't turn the pump on or turn the starter one day and check underneath the seat there a ground wire there for the fuel pump, if thats dirty that can give you an issue as well. Other wise keep pluging away at the manual to see if you can find the fuse and if worst comes to worst, try to follow the wiring harness back from the fuel pump to to fuse. I know easier said then done and could possibly void your warranty, but that depends on how frustrated you are at that point to bring you quad back to the dealer and have them taking a look at it.

Thanks for that suggestion but, the other thread i did points out and has a pic of where to find the fuel pump fuse and the fan fuse. It was the fuel pump fuse as I suspected but could not locate for a while.
