Default worried about a sound at high RPMS

got my 04 kfx 400..i am hearing a loud "jingling" sound when i rev high. mainly when i am just about to up shift. sounds sort of like a messed up bell. kinda high pitch.... now i dont know much about the transmission and gears but i was imagining it to be maybe the gears? but would gears work if they made that sound? havent looked into it much..figured i would stop by here first. i was told "not to worry about it" but thats not happening. what do you knowledgeable individuals think?
