Default 50 hp?

Is it possible to get 50 hp without internal modifications to the motor and still be normally aspirated?

Sure is. but it needs to be tuned in to the T.

muzzy super PRO
+10 key
proper tuning and airbox setup
crossover intakes
stage 3 spidermod clutch

that gets them to 49-50 at the wheels they are 35 rwhp stock 50 hp at the motor

John

John thanks for coming in on this one. I know you got more pulls than Pee Wee Herman at a Matinee.

This is what I was thinking about doing:
HMF Dual competition exhaust.
Dynatex CDI
Rejet starting point 185/182
12 hole airbox Mod

How far will that get me? I will defiantly consider other mods.

I rode a quad with a modified clutch and you had to get the rpmís up before it would even engage then it would jerk hard enough to break the tires loose.

I asked if it is possible to get 50 hp without internal modifications to the motor and still be normally aspirated. I do appreciate VFJ comment in this post and I respect his experience. I may have limitations, considerations and personal preferences you may not be aware of. The question was not what parts will I need to get 50HP. I feel your comment was not needed or warranted in this post. I would have expected a bigger contribution in a post from a senior member.

it looked like you wanted 50hp if you could get it, you listed a big list of $$ parts you wanted and john listed a less $$ list thats proven to get 50hp. sorry it 's a no brainer.....
see it happen all the time, next month you'll be posting pipes for sale...or my v-force runs like crap ,it pops and backfires and my sisters 300ex s faster help!
