Default Something wrong!

I hit the key on my V after it had been sitting for a few months and it would not turn over, first took off the starter and tested it, it was fine, then the battery, it was fine, jumped the selnoid and still just a click, took off the clutch cover to find I could not turn the clutch, so I tried harder, (I am strong)it finally turn over with a lot of trying, then it fired right up with a loud tap,
What did I do????

if its a loud tap maybe you seized a rocker arm... ect.... I would pull the front rocker cover and inspect....

Anything is possible with revs. I had a crank bearing noise under slight load but not at idle.

Pulling rocker cover tonight, going to look for a seized rocker or a bolt head broken off?
I will keep you posted, Found a guy on here who has a set of heads he will sell me If I need to replace the front one, what else should I look for when I get the cover off?
