Default Honda 700xx vs. KFX 700

I have been watching some video of the Honda 700xx and it appears to be very fast for a stock bike. I see them doing 80 - 85 mph with bolt ons or gearing. Has anyone raced one? If so, what was the outcome and what mods did you have on the V? I will be doing a 730 kit later which should be faster than the 700 xx. What top speed is to be expected with a 730 kit and VFJ stage 3 clutch?

Top speed doesn't win 99% of the races you'll be doing.

I've been beat by one on an old worn out stock V I used to own..In 200' Mud drags. I probably had 150lbs on the guy though too. But he put it on me

I agree Pipo. I heard the 700xx is lighter and has more HP.

Yeah i mean most drags are 300' so top speed isnt going to matter.

I've only ever raced one and it was stock, it had no chance against my brute or 450 in 600+ ft race. A mate of mine has just bought one but haven't been riding with him yet.

Raced a couple when all I had was a EPI maroon and pro circuit duals. I had about 100 lbs on the riders and still won every race by a couple lengths.
