Does anyone have their clutch cover off, or know off the top of their head what size socket fits the Primary bolt? My buddy picked up my V today to take it to Silver Lake for riding Friday. I am meeting him up there tomorrow night. I might want to try a few different combos, but I forgot what size the bolt is. I want to make sure I have the right tools with me.

I currently have the full Dalton setup with Or/Bl and three shims. That should be pretty good, but I also have a comet black and a HPD plain to try. Any suggestions?

Anybody have a chance to get up to Silver Lake on Friday? Love to have some more Vs to ride with. I'll have my green V along with my buddies Orange KFX400 and another guy on a Rubicon 500

I found it-forgot about that chart pinned up top. You will like those higher revs at the dunes, esp on the dragstrip.

KevinM put together a great spring chart, it is pinned at the top of the postings page. The Black shows 38/172. I would like to see how your bike runs with the brown. I think you said it was a little tricky to load on the trailer with all that stall The Dalton weights would help bring that down a little.

It's not too bad. In reverse you have to hold the override in. When my friends try to load it, look the f out. I was quick to get used to it, but I will definetly put the pink spring in for the snow and ice. I ran the brown spring on the creek last winter and lost about 25% of my studs from the high engagement.

LOL! I know what you mean, even with the or/bl and three shims, you can get it to lurch forard like a pro stocker! Kinda fun to squawk'em in the garage. I have to warn people when they get on it. It is really smooth once your used to it though
