Hey Guys Ridding V this Weekend friggin swing arm snapped i flew off broke my finger

What the He** is wrong with these swing arms?


there was no slop in my bike at all it is taken care of and cleaned before and after every ride maintained after every ride bike was in perfect condition


How big is this problem?


on the positive side i had just beaten a raptor and a trx 450 BUT they were the ones laughing when the swing arm snapped

Sounds like its time to contact Kawasaki. This is starting to make me nervous. Where are they breaking. Makes me think that they have quality issues with their castings.

Something for all you folks that like to air out the V to think about ,inspect your swing arm! if that thing breaks on landing there will be injuries involved. Be carefull folks.

I dont typically air out the V just minor jumps etc

could you or anyone that has experienced cracks or breakage post some pics?i'd really like to know what to look for and where exactly to look.i go over my bike very thoroughly(sp?) before and after riding. but don't really know enough about it to be confident in knowing what i'm looking at.thanks in advance.

I sure would like to see some pictures also! I can't aford to even fall off, with all my back and spine problems it would mean instant wheel chair or worse!
