TrailTech has a really nice billet dash you can get with the Vapor---But there are a few cons---1. Big $$$---2. There is no space for the key switch, (you have to move it)---3. I think you have to change to 1 1/8 bars to fit it.
So I decided to find a way to mount it to the stock dash to avoid these 3 issues. First I got a second stock dash---Filed down the plastic to fit the mount I made---Made 2 different mounts, one using their cheap little plastic bar mount they send out, and the other I improvised with billet aluminum and little brackets---Drilled a 1/2" hole above the key switch for computer wires to go through.
The pics are from rough to completion so you could see how it came together.
I'm pretty stoked as it works perfectly and even though it's red necked---It looks good too.

With the one on the left---The Vapor can be adjusted up/down

Back side---Changed those screws out with black cap screws

Now the Vapor is mounted on the other one

And the back side with cap screws now

And a front view
Will post up when I get it on the V Force.
