Swing Arm Bearing Protection

Use a VW Golf II wheel hub cover. The Part number is 823 501 249. You can fill a little bit grease inside the cover. This is for a better protection against water and so on. The cover is a little bit smaller than the hole in the frame. Use some silicone for fixing the cover into the frame.

Heat Shielded Seat

I did this because I noticed my seat getting really hot. At first I figured it was the sun after parking it for a while and resting, then getting back on to ride. Turns out it did it even if I parked in the shade.

To me this is very uncomfortable and I wanted to find a solution. Then I remembed I had some BeQuiet Extreme (similiar to Dynamat extreme) sound deadener left over from using it in my car. I decided to apply it to the bottom of my seat just to see the results as I know of people using it under their hoods to lower hood temps for ram air applications. I also knew it couldn't hurt to try. Sure enough, I noticed my seat remained much cooler now.

It is very sticky stuff, so it isnt comming off. It has been on there for over a year. I cleaned the seat up really good with alcohol before applying it.
