I just bought a set of 36mm carbs and I need to know where to start with jetting. I have an LM-2 so I'm just looking for a starting point. My engine is stock internally, I have a Muzzy Super Pro, home made crossover intake, and GYTR filter.

Also what do I do about the choke? I know I have to reach down and choke it by hand by what do I use as the choke? Is there a plunger I can buy or what..? Thanks!

11.5 FPS 730
FST Stage 3 cams
Ported heads
FST UPP intakes
Muzzy Super Pro
Dyna CDI
36's with Yamaha filter
2 shims on each needle
42 pilots

Had a 132 and 135 in it, lean with mid to upper 13's on meter since switching intakes. Would a 135/137.5 or 140 cut it, or should I go 140/145?

820 Fundy, 36mm Keihn carb, fundy porting on heads, trail/race cam's, HPP intakes,FMF exhaust 2250 ft elevation. 180/182 main jets, 38 slow jets, no shims yet because i havnt had a chance to take it out with the LM1 meter. On idol it is 13.4-14.1 air/fuel. I will post later when i have some results.

how come I need big-ass jets in my stock carbs with x-over intake ...and alot of you guys are running smaller jets in you 36mm carbs??? I have 7/64 in them now (its a little rich, but better than a little lean)

I would think since 36mm carbs flow more air, they'd need even bigger jets?

I'm temped to try my 7/64 jets in my 36's
