Kenny
Mine are 50/180 front, 185/345 rear personnally I think the ones I have are the ticket. I have had riders from 160lbs to 280lbs think the ride is incredible and say they wouldn't change a thing. Twyztid also purchased a 185/345 rear along with the prototype set.

When you try another set---I'll take dibs on the set you have on now

Kenny
Sorry, Im sticking with the ones I have now.

how does this effect handling for tight woods sections? i know going from my z440 to this bike, the front end dives and pushs pretty bad. My Z handled like it was on rails. Im hoping these springs will make a big difference due to lowering the bike slightly. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Im going to get a set, but i wanted to ask that while im waiting on paypal.

I don't think you will ever get that "on rails" feeling out of a V but these springs may make the ride more comfortable. The only person that currently has a set of these springs installed yet is Mike that started this thread. I have purchased a set but still have to install them and get some ride time on them to see what they feel like. I am sure they are going to be better than stock but it is a matter of finding out how MUCH better they are.

Default put the springs on already

Jezz just put the springs on and let us know how they ride already. I am in the process of buying Christmas presents and I think Santa may bring me and my wife a set of those springs.

Well, I've got PLENTY of time to give you some good feedback then if you aren't going to get them until Christmas.

A little early for buying Christmas presents, isn't it?

I am interested in a set. I tried to read thru this entire thread. I am 195lbs. The OE shocks beat me up when riding on rough trails at higher speeds. I am looking for a softer ride or something to reduce the harshness. Its an ATV. I realize its not a Lexus. But, I do NOT want the machine any lower than stock. I do NOT want to adversley effect the handling by making the springs too soft and causing the machine to push in a turn or sway excessively.

So...what spring rate set should I use ? I would like them in OE lime green. Who do I order from?

Thanks!!!!

I don't think you can have both a softer ride and no lowering. You may find a spring that won't sit any lower without you on it but I am pretty sure that any spring that has a softer ride will have more sag when you get on the quad.

No matter what, if you go with a softer ride your going to loose a little ground clearance, if your 195lbs your not going too loose much about an inch. You would need the 50/180 fronts and the 185/345 rears. I have 6 sets instock and will sell them for $195. shipped any single stage color, my number is 410-676-1042 (ask for mike).
