Lakota Sport smoking
I have a lakota sport that started smoking badly and fouling plugs. Pulled engine to see that the piston was scuffed. I had thought that a ring was broke, but not so. It is rode mostly in the mud, could it have gotten too hot and scuffed the piston? I have the engine out and am ready to do the top end, any recommendations on parts, thanks.

Go to www.cycleworksracing.net get the number and call Greg Spicka. He will treat you very good. It sounds as if you could have gotten possibly mud or debri into the cylinder to cause the issue.

Yeah, Greg can help you with pretty much anything. The big question is, "what's your budget?" If you've got it apart right now, there's no better time to make some changes. The parts that we could recommend depend entirely on what you plan on doing to it.
