Mojave 250 shifter shaft help

Hello everyone. I bought a 250 and the shifter shaft is broke and I'm looking to replace it. I can do the work myself but I need to know what parts I'll need besides the shaft. Is there a manual online that gives the steps?

Also, has anyone ever modfied one to have a electric shifter on it? I'm also interested in buying a electric starter setup and some plastics as well. Thanks in advance!!
