no spark
 i just paid 1900.00 for a perfect looking 250 and ran for about 1 hour has no spark are there any issues with these things. stator is lighting a test light pickup is putting out ac voltage switches ohm checked ok dont really know how to test cdi unit it does have a ground any sugestions would be appreciated this is my first atv i am a master auto tech these things cant be that hard to fix

Check to see if the plug wire is threaded onto the plug boot all the way. It could be the CDI the can go bad on a whim. If you have to replace it, get one for the KLR250 dirtbike. Its about the same in price and will give a better spark timing curve

thanks the stock cdi is 400.00 this thing looks brand new belive it or not.didnt want to chop into the harness will it plug in?
