Any decent oil will work if you change it properly and at the right intervals.

haha very funny 123 and scott ever hear of oil its every were in the gulf of mexico if you know were thats at and its very good for a motor if you use the right amount and kinda sorry to be mean or sarcastic i guess buuut and i guess i will use a 10w40 while its hot and winter 10w30 or 30 thats lighter not as thick right?? so be easyer on it and to start etc. and guess it will be pennzoil so i will probably end up trying to delete this thread since its going no were

and what i was wondering to scott.t and to who ever else WHAT TYPE AND BRAND to use and tips?
on it i know in a quadmag (nolonger avablie ended that line alomost as soon as i sucribed) that there was a type with a simble that was bad for wet clutchs and would pretty much mess them up aka leave up stranded on the trail with a go no were quad

Any oil rated for wet clutch use is good. I run Amsoil Dominator 15W50, but I race mine hard. As long as you check and change it on a regular basis, you are ahead of quite a few people.

The problem is you're talking like english is a foreign language for you. I use 5w-30 pennzoil. If you're going to be racing it hard then change it more often is all.

The 5w in 5w-30 will make it a good cold oil too. its 5 weight in the cold and thickens to 30w when it gets hot.

only advice I can give....whatever weight, make sure it's rated for wet clutch. Standard motor oil will trash it.
