well after taking my t3 for a spin yesterday,I have decided to take it apart and restore it.Here's what it looked like on fri. and then today.I think I am going to powder coat the frame back to the original silver.I am also thinking of running a bigger carb and after market exhaust.Any ideas's or pics to give me some idea's?

Very nice trike. If it was mine I would just do a cleanup port and put a 38mm carb on it.

It will look way better with a silver frame. Keep us up to date on the build.

Saw it on craigslist a couple weeks ago.Are you the new owner ? or were you the seller and decided to keep it ?

Seems all the 86-87's are on the other side of the country.

Another vote for a silver frame. If the VIn sticker is still intact i'd try to save it.
Are you going to put a headlight and cover back on ?

decided to keep it,it will give me something to do over the winter.Someone already painted over the vin#.It's at the sandblaster now.I do have the vin off the motor yet.Going to paint it with the silver metallic from an 06 dodge truck.very nice color I think.
You looking for one to buy?

Been lurking at the 86-87 T3's for awhile now. They all seem to be on the other side of the country. I'd like to get ride of 1 vintage sled before i buy a T3. I can't confirm if it is 100% accurate, but I was told that kawi never sold the 86-87 T3 in canada. Stands to reason a sI never have seen one up here, just 84-85's.

Almost closed a deal on one in Maine, but the frame was powder coated. The VIn sticker was gone and the Vin stamp wasn't legible. The seller also had no title or registration. To import one the Vin has to be legible and technically i could get it in with just a bill of sale, but i would be screwed at our registration office as they wouldn't register it in my name without some sort of ownership document from A DMV.

We are complicated here in quebec sigh.
