What are you guys running for gearing at the dunes? I'm getting ready to go to Glamis soon and would like to put my power to good use! My T-4 is stock except for the FMF fattie (blah, i know) and a K&N filter. Mods to come later. I weigh about 180lbs and the bike never seems to catch up with the tires. It will spin 'em in any gear when it comes on the pipe and I'm just wondering if I should chage anything? I do use the bike for more than the dunes...alot of desert riding near Florence and Maricopa (Phoenix for those who don't know). Any help would be great. Thanks in advance, Matt.

what size paddles are you running? i run 13-45 with 22x11x10 9 paddle haulers. after my new 330 i will run 13x43. if you are running a 20x10x10 8 paddle hauler. run a 13x39-42. don't go with a 12t front as you will eat the case with he chain. i can get you nice sprockets for whatever gearing you want. i'm ordering sprockets on monday. let me know, fronts are 10.00 plus shipping and rears will be 45.00 plus shipping.

Have Rockhound score you a 46 rear from PBI.

a 22" is a tall sand tire for a stock engine. 13/46 will give you plenty of torque to move em. Its what I ran stock. I now have bumped the front up to a 14.

Bigger in back? I'm thinking I've got too much bottom now! Maybe I'm looking at it wrong...I'd like to get a little more top end or maybe use the lower gears a little longer.

Nothing, yet. Just seems to have too much bottom end...won't hook-up! Got good tires on the back but it just spins 'em when it comes on the pipe!
