2012 Brute Force Stainless Snorkels

Something a little different, I didn't like the idea of pieces of PVC showing.

Can't run my welder off my generator so I need to wait until power is back on to weld them together and add bracing, but here are a couple pics. Sorry I guess the pics kind of suck, but you get the idea.

I just need to figure out how I am going to brace them without the braces being in the way and get the tubes welded together.

I'm not sure how I feel about it at this point... I guess time will tell

It's 1.25 ID, just a tiny tiny bit smaller than the ID of 1.5 PVC.

That's where my apprehension lies... I have run it but I haven't done anything more than a lap around my yard. I didn't want to get it out for a real beat run until the snorks are all braced up. The rest of the tubing is all 1.5" except for the actual metal snorks that you see. I guess actually riding it is really the only way to tell if it is working right or not. The factory air intake is not very big.... I assume it will be fine. If this doesn't work out, I'm just going to go back to stock. Stock is reliable.

you'll definatly want to add another intake snorkel OR up the ID of it to 2 inch or greater. the 2012 does need more air than the stock box allows.

If that's the case, I'll be putting her back to stock. My OCD doesn't allow PVC plumbing to be a part of my very expensive quad and I don't have any larger stainless. I really wish I could find someone that manufactures snorkel kits... Like not just PVC pieces from Home Depot put together in a kit... And the EHS cover I have is mind numbing loud at anything off idle.

You would think with the market out there, people would be dying to spend money on well made parts. Like if K&N made an intake system... Molded plastic, OEM Style.
