Pimp My Ride
So as some of you know, my daily driver is a pos 98 Hyundai Accent. Well the other week I was driving down the highway and I caught one of the stock bicycle tires in a 6" deep 5" wide groove. It ripped the tire off the rim and damn near wrecked me good. I went to get a new tire and said to hell with it. It is time to get some wider tires. So I went from this

It rides great. I turn the wheel and it response great. Before it has always had a steering lag and soft response. I need to roll the rear fenders alittle cause it scraps if I hit a dip in the road. The speedo is of 5mph at 65, but the rpm's are down from almost 3000 to 2500. Highway milage is back over 40. It is still a pos, but it amazes me what a set of $200 wheels/tires can do for it!!!

Just trying to keep the local thang going. It seem to be the thing round here to put a nice set of rims on a turd. I bet there are 100 80's caprice's round here jacked up with 22"s. I could only squeeze on 16" but hey, why not, right?
