BTW, do you want to go to Socal?

We got our son a 50 Kazuma Meerkat delivered to the door for $500. Do a search of Kazuma...should bring up alot and if you can find a local distributor maybe you can pick it up for less.

Good luck!

I read in my local paper this morning about some type of "recall" on that particular kids ATV. It was pretty much an article bashing atv's and the lack of the government in dealing with "defective" atv's. They just happened to mention that ATV by name as having a whole host of problems and not meeting the "safety standards" but yet there was no real enforcement of the recall or an attempt made to get the defective, missing parts replaced.

We have a Kazuma Falcon 110 that we ordered for $900.00 shipped from New York. Brand New. We have had alot of problems with it. The welds not holding up around the foot pegs, screws loosening, gas tank cracked around the opening. The worst thing that happened was the throttle sticking and going WOT. Thank goodness my 13 year old was on it and knew what to do. If our younger 2 would have been on there it could have been really bad.

We also have a Eton 90 that we bought about 4 years ago, it has been through all 4 of our kids. It has been a great quad, with no problems at all.

Thank god he was in the soft sand when it stuck WOT so the tires just spun, I couldn't have imagined it in the dirt.

Sorry but never ever buy a Kazuma unless you are willing to put a LOT of time into checking every nut and bolt. Plus dealing with lots of stuff breaking. They are SO cheap it's really tempting but what is safety and lack of frustration worth to ya?

I got a free 110 with my Toyhauler. It was a different name but was the same Chinese knock off. What a POS! My kids road it around the house for about 5 minutes each. 4X5=20. I am not kidding you when I say it took me about 2 hours to go through that thing and tighten up EVERY single fastener on it. I had to as it was for sale. If I had bought it...it would have been going back for a return.

Look for a 50cc quad from Suzuki (LT50) anything up to 2006 or from Kawasaki (KFX50) any year up to and including 2006.

2007 and 2008 Kawasaki's are actually Kymco models. I have the 90cc version and it is a good quad, but down on power compared to the two stroke models.

I sold a 2005 KFX50 for $750 about a month ago. It is a great starter quad, easy to maintain, no gas to mix (since it is a two stroke).

After having it about a year, she was ready for more power. She is 9 now and she is quite big on that 50. Ya, like she could stay on that until she turns 12!

As everybody is suggesting, don't buy a Chinese Knock-off quad as they are crap and fall apart quickly + they could injure your child.

Good luck and ride safe.

if you aren't scared off the chinese c-rap by now, realize that some of those loose bolts and nuts were on the steering stem, tie rod ends and other steering/suspension areas. Hell the shock mount bolts were loose. WTF?

they must have little kids assembling these things by hand.
