Took me 2 months and $1100 of parts, but I finally finished rebuilding my kid's red 2007 Honda trx250ex. Here's a list of the parts I replaced/restored:

New red fenders and black dash
New rear tires (20" radial Dunlop)
Painted the exhaust system black (high heat)
Painted the rims black (high heat)
Painted the foot shifter black (bedliner spray)
Painted the frame (silver metallic - same color as stock)
New rear skid plate
New front brake pads
New air filter and spark plug
Adjusted the valves
Cleaned the Centrifugal Oil Filter (insider the front crankcase)
Changed all fluids
Replace broken headlight bracket
Restored the front headlight lens (use headlight restoration kit)
Bent the handlebars back to original shape

The important thing is that my kids seem pretty happy with the results. B) Let me know what you think.

Looks good. Apparently the hot set up is putting a front shock from a banshee on the rear.

Nice and clean, good job! A friend of mine bought a 250ex those for his son, those are nice lil quads. I bought a 250 Recon for my son years ago, very solid quads.

Nice fix up man.

Now time for exhaust, rejet, 400ex front a-arms with 450R front shocks, and a Raptor 660 rear shock with some spacers on the rear to match the front tire width.

About another 6-700 in parts.
