They are different for sure, and mine run better with the Factory Pro over the stockers for some reason I could get it right with stock needles, all these carbs a different and when modded like we do makes them act even Worse.

I have a pair of stock needles now and they are a lot fatter at the tip than the other ones (Factory Pro?). I will probably try out the Factory Pro ones first.

So the mains and pilots are the same ones the stock kawasaki carbs use??

Or do the 36's use the -21 series pilot?

It wasnt the carbs at all, it was my porting that was messed up. Someone, (I'm not calling names) put my heads on a flow bench and then filled in the intake ports to make them flow better (higher #'s on that damn machine) and more even. So after that stuff was ground out of my intake ports it was fixed. I kinda new it wasnt the carbs or any tunning problems for that matter because I had been using the 36's before the problem and they worked perfect.

Alright guys I need a hand at a starting point. Amr730 pistons fst stage 2 cams on a partially gutted stock exhaust, yeah I'm broke for a while it was free and free is for me, I have a copperhead vdi gen2 I will be running on the bike I have a set of 36's and fst upp intakes that came off a 900 kfx so jetted big 48's and 145's I believe front and rear. I know it probably will be to much fuel for a 730 with a mild cam so just looking for a good starting point. Thinking 40's and 120's as a start. Also no porting or anything done to head other than dual springs.

140 mains should be close with the taller GYTR filter (or k&n equivalent) filter and stock needles. Not sure how much impact the stock exhaust will have though, better to start off rich anyway. 40-42 pilots for stock or other non crossover intakes. My buddy is in the low 120's but has dynojet needles.
