2018 Mule Pro FXR Headlights

I was hoping to upgrade my stock halogen headlight bulbs to some LED headlights bulbs but I’m having difficulty. It’s been mentioned that the halogen headlight bulbs may be an H13 but I cannot verify that. I had the sales rep from VLEDS (where I purchased the replacement LED bulbs) do a little research and he found out that the stock bulbs are proprietary and there’s no LED retrofit. The stock bulb has no model number imprinted on it only the wattage and brand name. I had ordered the H13 LED retrofit but the base of the bulb was too big to fit into the housing. The base blades were too wide in circumference to fit into the housing. (See photo)

Pretty disappointed as I really wanted to upgrade the the stock bulbs. I’m assuming I wouldn’t be able to upgrade to some Sylvania Siver Star bulbs either as those may not fit as well. Anyone have any suggestions?

Below is what I installed on my 16. Much better lighting than the stock bulbs and a whiter more usable light. Plug and play on mine.

I already have the Kawasaki 99994- 0959 OEM LED headlights on the machine. It came with them as standard equipment. Not sure if the Amazon replacements will work either. If the bulb base is larger than stock bulbs like in the photo than Iím guessing Kawasaki may have the only bulb that would fit. Seems quite odd if this were true as most every other car or UTV has a normal size healdlight bulb. I think the bulb itself is of the normal size just not the base itís attached to. Itís qutie possible the new FXR Mule Pro could have a different housing and bulb compared to the same year FXT models. It also has 3 internal pins in the plug vs 2 like most. Iím going to keep trying some other bulbs to see if something works.

Looks like the stock bulb in the Pro FXR is a JW Speaker part number 4831920. I attached a link below for the stock bulb.

Mine has the factory LED lights as well. I replaced the factory large lights that came with halogen bulbs with the LED bulbs listed in my post. I thought those were the bulbs you were wanting to replace.

Just received the Beamtech bulbs and they will not fit. The base is too big for the assembly. For some reason, Kawasaki decided to use a totally different proprietary bulb on the FXR. The stock bulbs are pretty inferior in my opinion. I guess Iíll have to find something to replace the elite assembly or buy another pair of the stock LEDís that came with the unit

My mule pro fxr came with 4 headlights up front. Unfortunately two are LED and two are lousy halogens. The LEDs are extremely white bright lights the halogens are yellowish and just ok light wise. When all four are on the it looked terrible..... as if you replaced two of the lights with old car headlights. Kawasaki will happily sell you another pair of LED's that match for $270. This makes the machine look perfect, like you would have expected from the beginning. These are similar to sealed beams, not just "bulbs".

I adjusted them differently from the other leds and i find no need for a light bar...its like daytime.
