tire size

i run maxxis carnivores in 28 inch and love them. Got to look at tire weight on this machine and the carnivores are some of the lightest 8 ply tires. ive had superatv intimidator 28 inch tires and had a big performance hit, esp when going up sand trails and stuff.

I'm running 28" ITP Blackwater Evo's. Not sure about weight as I mostly stay in low gear and crawl thru some pretty nasty muck. Back 40 acres of the farm where it is used is pretty nasty all the time due to flooding. It's unstoppable, so far. The few times I've run it in high and blasted through the fields, I could definitely tell it had lost some top speed. But, for what I need and use it for, I'm very happy with these tires.

I pulled a hawthrown needle out of the front right last week and was impressed how deep it was and didn't cause a leak. I've had them for about a year and haven't had a single issue.

But, if I were running at higher speeds over longer distances with no mud, I'd go with something entirely different.
