Why a Mule instead of a Ranger?

I’m looking at making a purchase in the near future. I’ve owned a Mule 4010 trans and a Ranger 900 in the past. I’m trying to decide between a 900/1000 Ranger or a Mule pro. What do you like better about your Mules?

I had a hard time find anyone, dealers included, that had much nice to say about Polaris in general. Had a hard time finding anyone that thought Mules were crap.

Polaris has “fun” down to a T with their ATVs and SXS. Aftermarket accessories are plentiful.

Kawasaki has reliability and durability down to a T. The Mule is a work vehicle that you can play in. It isn’t growing to Wow you with its sport performance. But it is a smooth riding vehicle that excels at working and is capable of handling 6 adults comfortably.

I considered Polaris and others but ultimately landed on the Mule FXT because it met my needs more than the others and I trusted the quality. I haven’t been disappointed yet.

I own a small repair shop in west central Texas and 90% of what's owned around here are Polaris and Kawasaki. The problems that I see with Rangers are ridiculous. I also see a fair share of problems with the 2510, 3010, 4010 Mules but not like the Rangers. The Mule Pros are ridiculous too. Ridiculously reliable! I have serviced about 25 of them and have yet to troubleshoot a problem with one. Although I have had to repair two that hit stumps and one that came off a trailer at 65mph but that's a different story. I have to finish with, I love Polaris, they feed my family!

3 year warranty and reliability.

After 90 days that Ranger is an expensive out of pocket expense.

If it's just you and 2 others the FXR is perfect. I love mine. Even with 3 large adults I still have room.

I drove an FXR yesterday. That’s what I’m going to get, a 2019 in blue. Nice ride and plenty fast enough.
